Les Deux Alpes
The resort of Les Deux Alpes has the largest ski glacier in Europe.
It covers an area of 100 hectares and is located between 2 900 m and 3 568 meters.
A very famous snowpark is located on one of the glaciers.
Thanks to its very little crevassed glaciers and particularly steep slopes, the resort offers the possibility to ski in winter and summer.
Since the late 1990s, mountain biking has become an important summer activity.
The FreeRaid / Mondial du VTT is held here every year.
BY THE ROAD
FROM GRENOBLE Access to the 2 Alps is NORMALLY done by the RD1091 from Grenoble!
Take the motorway to Grenoble: exit Briançon, Vizille Exit N ° 8.
Then take the RD1091 direction Briançon via Le Bourg d'Oisans.
At the Chambon dam, turn right and go up the D213. ACCESS TO THE 2 ALPS - CHAMBON TUNNEL INFO (RD1091).
Tip: It is always useful to have chains in the trunk of your vehicle!
